A unique email address is required for each user registered with a family account. However, only one of these addresses needs to be a valid email address for payment purposes etc. However, any email address (real or not) can be entered for the remaining account users but should be noted for login purposes. Users with gmail accounts may find it useful to know that any gmail address can be appended with a ‘+’sign and any word or number, and while this new email address will be unique, all mail messages sent to the altered gmail addresses will go to the original address. For example, the real address joe.blogs@gmail.com will receive message sent to joe.blogs+1@gmail.com, joe.blogs+2@gmail.com, and so on. Similarly, the real address joe.blogs@gmail.com will receive message sent to joe.blogs+pedro@gmail.com, joe.blogs+maria@gmail.com, and so on.
